    For example: en, es, ja or zh-TW. This sets book metadata, not a translation.

    Images keep their proportions. Smaller images are not enlarged.

    JPEG replaces transparency with white. PNG keeps transparency. Both preserve the page layout.

    Questions about image ebooks

    Can I search or copy the text?

    No. Pages remain images. This tool does not run OCR or create reflowable text. Text-to-speech cannot read the words inside the images.

    Which readers can open the book?

    The file uses EPUB 3 fixed layout. Use a reader that supports image-based, fixed-layout EPUBs. Reader support varies; check the downloaded book before sharing it. Kindle conversion is not guaranteed.

    How can I make the file smaller?

    Choose a shorter longest edge or lower JPEG quality. Fine text can lose detail, so check a sample page. PNG preserves transparency but often produces larger files. Exports are limited to 160 MB of image data.
