GIF: up to 10 MB, 120 frames and 16 million pixels across all frames. No frames are dropped.

Nothing is uploaded. Files stay in this tab and are cleared when you leave.

Compress the animation, not just its first frame

The compressor processes the displayed frames and preserves total playback duration during ordinary compression. Palette reduction can change fine gradients and photographic textures. Watch moving edges as well as inspecting a still preview.

Why a short GIF can exceed the budget

Large frame dimensions multiplied by many frames consume memory even when the downloaded file is small. Inputs are limited to 10 MB, 120 frames and 16 million pixels across all frames. A smaller canvas may help; the tool does not silently drop frames.

A few useful details

Why do colors change after GIF compression?+

GIF uses a limited color palette. Re-encoding can change gradients and fine edges. Compare the animation, not just the file size.

Will the tool always reach my size limit?+

No. Complex or long animations may exceed the target. Check the actual output size and the warning before using the file.

Will my image keep its quality?+

GIF: up to 10 MB, 120 frames and 16 million pixels across all frames. No frames are dropped.

What if the target is too small?+

You’ll see a warning if your settings can’t meet the limit. Raise the limit or allow smaller dimensions. Files that exceed the limit never count as successful results.

Are my files uploaded?+

Non-AI tools process files locally in your browser without uploading them or requiring an account. AI tools use remote processing and are clearly labeled. Files are uploaded only after you explicitly confirm; local tools never switch to cloud processing automatically.
